If you're using weechat, please issue the following command:

/script remove apply_corrections.py

It's buggy and contains a DoS vulnerability for your weechat session. This was figured out by accident. Someone should be opening an issue on weechat's github shortly.

weechat is fine to use otherwise. This is just a third-party script that was autoloaded in the /etc/skel/.weechat configs.
