Hello everyone,
I'm writing for user gougou, who has a valid account - and also a working email address - but can't ssh into tilde.team as the public key he supplied a while ago is broken (some kind of file corruption).
What would be the right way for him to get this corrected? To who by what means can he send his pubkey so that it can be put into his auhtorized_keys?
I do have a copy, but frankly, it should be him providing it...
Thanks :-) ~yalla.
There's an "account recovery" page on the wiki: https://tilde.team/wiki/account-recovery
I personally think he should shoot an email to sudoers@tilde.team, using the email he first used to sign up, or his tilde.team email if possible.
(accidentally sent this privately at first, oops. you have to use "Reply All" on a mailing list...)

Oh, funky, I did not find this. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll let him know. He's a semi-regular on #meta and also reads his tilde.team email.

Thanks! I'll CC him.

Good point, just subscribed, need to setup list-reply in my .muttrc...
Thanks for the swift response and recommendations!
~yalla.
I've just checked my mailbox, and I did write to sudoers@tilde.team somewhere around April 17'th 2025. Although I can't confirm my message was delivered (japanese yahoo can get weird from what I heard).
Should I write once again in this case? Or perhaps somebody can pick up situation from this thread?

Honestly I have no bearings regarding how active the admins in emails. You might just have to wait. I had to wait a bit to get my password sorted out.
Or try IRC. https://tilde.team/wiki/code-of-conduct#9-contact-info This link contains all admin contact info. ~ben is the lead guy.
Can't be certain that IRC would be a *more* reliable way of getting an answer, but you're already on the tilde IRC, maybe try a private message there.
Unrelated; I think #team is for tilde.team there. I haven't been on the IRC in a moment.

Let me correct myself: based on my email history, I never received a reply to my password request email. Think I eventually found it by myself.
The sudoers email is probably not that active... (and I'd prefer to be wrong about this!)
