Sunset Beach. It's on the western shore of Cape May, New Jersey, which is to say the Delaware Bay side. The hulk of the SS Atlantus, a concrete ship, is visible just offshore (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Atlantus) and the beach is gravel washed down the Delaware. It includes a lot of very clear quartz, dubbed Cape May Diamonds, so it's fun to go beachcombing on. https://photos.app.goo.gl/wecXqtFJvEUPXozf7
I grew up in the middle of the farfromliquid so the massive liquid remains novel for me: https://www.instagram.com/p/BzskCOlFixK/
I had the opportunity to go to Hong Kong as a kid in the 90s, so I still have HK$ with a picture of QE2 on it. I wonder how those folks are doing these days.

A long, long time ago I was fortunate enough to visit the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA as the guest of a member. The Magic Castle is a private club for magicians, with a bar, dining, nightly shows, and just generally cool little surprise touches everywhere throughout. (You enter via a small lobby with no other visible doors; you have to say the magic word for the hidden entrance to reveal itself.)

In Ecuador, there is a large monument called "Mitad del Mundo" or "Middle of the World." There is a large compass rose surrounding it with the cardinal directions marked and signs posted indicating that the east-west line sits at 0° latitude. It does not. It is 240 meters south of the true equator.
