I'm a recent member but used shells back on the early 2000's. I missed the traqulity of just plain shell and also IRC, so here I am. And now since I discovered the Gemini protocol I'm using it as a playground on what I can do. The protocol itself and the markup is simple but you can do a lot server side, so I'm taking my time to learn it while I also learn Python.
I do have a VPS and also I work on my Linux everyday, but here we have a nice community :)

Fellow tilde.club users,
Since joining tilde.club, I have found it's a fun community that is old-school-tech oriented (not going to find gopher sites on modern social media, lol). What do most people do with their tilde? Web development, email, learning Linux, or just hang out on IRC? I was just curious :) Plus if there's something I haven't tried I figure this will provide hints!
Re-sending from my tilde address...
Mostly botany. Figure if I can’t keep a real plant alive might as well fail at keeping a digital one alive too.
