Better place to get assistance is actually IRC: #club on https://newnet.net I am on IRC daily.. not always great depending on timezones but if no reply on IRC then you can always send root@tilde.club an email as well and I will handle it at that point.
My preference is a mailing list; I'm not a huge fan of things being hidden in chat, whether that's Discord or IRC.
I concur. The mailing list is is a great asynchronous way to communicate between users, even if they are not on IIRC.
