I finally got around to registering us as an official group on freenode.
we can get tilde.team/user/username cloaks now if you'd like.
#tilde.team is the channel there on freenode (mainly used as a backup in cases of emergency).
let me know if you want a cloak!

it's what shows up in /whois and when you join a channel on freenode: for example when i join a channel it might show as benharri@tilde.team/sudoers/ben instead of the ident/ip of what i'm connecting from.
it's similar to the vhosts that can be granted on tilde.chat with hostserv.

i heard back from freenode staff today about an iline request i had submitted a while back. your cloaks should now be applied!
it turns out that the connection limit we were hitting should now be resolved thanks to the identd that is now running.
