I have always used "tildenizens" but although I successfully created a now-official demonym for my old neighborhood (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delano%2C_Wichita%2C_Kansas) I'm not sure the tilde one ever caught on.
As I’m sure you remember, “Swintons” was in the running once upon a time. Always liked that one.
