I've only been here a couple of weeks so I'm still figuring this out. I've used Linux for many years (still quite a novice), but never in a multiuser environment. So I guess I'm here to explore and socialize with some other folks who like this kind of interaction instead of main stream social media.
I find it easier to focus here, and seems like I'm learning new skills that could potentially be useful.

What's that botany thing you are talking about?
I primarily use tilde.club for my personal blog, which is mostly a documentation of stuff I do with my laptop.

Fellow tilde.club users,
Since joining tilde.club, I have found it's a fun community that is old-school-tech oriented (not going to find gopher sites on modern social media, lol). What do most people do with their tilde? Web development, email, learning Linux, or just hang out on IRC? I was just curious :) Plus if there's something I haven't tried I figure this will provide hints!
Re-sending from my tilde address...
Mostly botany. Figure if I can’t keep a real plant alive might as well fail at keeping a digital one alive too.
Echoing this. Actually, only botany at the moment... and my digital plant died the other day :(
