Hi! I'm ~_ on tilde.club (which username I think technically breaks Unix standards) and @_ on Twitter. 5 years ago I managed to update my Tilde blog every day for 36 days before…well. But in any case, I updated it http://tilde.club/~_/ today!
In other worlds, I help run Meh.com. Before that, I helped run Woot.com. Way before that, I helped run Geeklife.com, which, not coincidentally, looked almost exactly like what my Tilde Club blog looks like.
It's a surreal feeling to look back at something that was designed, in some ways, to look back at something. Is there more of a story to the transition of ownership and what's happening now? (Sorry if I missed it in the rush of exciting new emails, I'm not fully caught up yet.)

Wow, I can't believe tilde club launched *5 years* ago, way back in 2014!
What's so weird about that is that 2010 is also 5 years ago, as is 2006.
And I'm sure I speak for many of us here when I say that I still have very, very fond memories the *real* old days! Circa 2000/2001, both of which occurred exactly 10 years ago.
Anyway, nice to see you all again!
Regards, Ryan

Hey everyone! So cool to see the club back in action. Can't wait to find something new to do with my space.
Mandatory intro: for work I've been writing java here in Vancouver. For fun I've been writing rust.
See you on the box, ~tobyjsullivan

Hello!
As someone who has never been on a mailing list like this, it is very overwhelming writing an email to unknown hundreds(?) of people but whatever, here goes. I’m another Paul and I am in Seattle. I build a lot of small weird blogs because social media burns me out. I mean I still read it all the time, but you know how it is.
http://tilde.club/~stublag/ is still just a really nice looking tilde. I should probably actually build something more substantial this time around.
Otherwise I have a lot of .zones:
https://doodle.zone https://recommendation.zone https://obsession.zone https://render.zone https://cardboard.zone
Turns out .zones are expensive! I pay $175/year for this joke! Oh well.
I also have an infrequent newsletter at https://occasional.email where I write about the art I’m working on, and other news about all of my .zones.
Okay bye! Paul
