I've recently gotten back into distributed computing with all the BOINC projects doing vaccine research and thought, what if we started a Tildeverse team for the projects we're working towards so we can keep track of our work in relation to each other and as a whole.
I'm not sure how to actually do this, or what kind of projects we should focus on, or if there's even an interest on donating our spare CPU cycles to science together.
I'm just gonna lay this out here in case anyone has any input ideas or input. If anyone wants help setting up BOINC or choosing a project for themselves, feel free to shoot me an email and I can help. Hopefully I remember to check it more often!
We would have to do it locally, since running it on the tildeservers themselves would degrade service. I don't mind getting together and running stuff on our own though
