I think we can all agree about the lack of time, well most of us at least. There was a point in my life where I was free to choose my own path (shortly after high school) and it took me to places I didn't predict. I like where I am at and I know that the efforts I put in were worth it
I tried growing a plant here on botany and I only watered it once and it died :( so now I'm growing a new one, and I'm hoping it gets me to log into here more often, if only to spend the 60 seconds to water my plant. I've got a terminal emulator on my phone so I don't really have the excuse not to.
I like this space - and I'm also rabbit-holing on Gemini and Gopher lately. Most of time has been text based lately. I've dropped off main stream social media years ago and stick to the fediverse, but even now I've been putting in my (very small amount of) time here instead. Seems nicer here.

As a result I can't spend much time around here, I literally opened my irc client for the first time in two months, that makes me sad because I disappeared and ghosted a lot of people

I agree. especially in the last two years with COVID, time seems to easily get away from me.
It's okay, I think this is pretty common and its hard to even feel bed since its pretty obvious we're all going through this together.
I've been trying to learn Node and 3d modelling but mostly been sleeping and playing FFXIV
