I never introduced myself! I'm ~jr on tilde and @johnrladd on twitter and a few other places.
I study literature using computers! Sometimes I *make* literature using computers, but mostly I just take it apart and put it back together like a model train.
I joined tilde.club 5 years ago as a way to teach myself some html/css/javascript basics, and a couple years later I was in a fellowship where I was writing javascript every day. Tilde played a surprisingly big role in my journey to feeling like less of a tech impostor, and I couldn't be happier that it's back.
