i'm expecting the migration to go much smoother than before, as everything now lives inside a vm that can easily be transferred as a single-file backup archive, but it will still likely take a couple hours since i'll need to first shut down the vm to ensure backup consistency, then transfer it over. besides moving the vm itself, the ipv4 addresses

will also need to be transferred over to the new server and i'm not sure how long that will take.
