No, tildeverse directly does not have Matrix, it is using IRC and XMPP mostly.
There are a few other pubnix/tilde sites that have Matrix servers, e.g. vern.cc or envs.net

envs.net just announced that they will be shutting down their matrix server due to cost btw; I know it was a fairly popular one.
