I am located in RU, I experience a cool internet anomaly called White Lists. It is a special condition of network where every resource on the internet that can be used as proxy or belongs to network domains that can be technically used as a proxy is slowed down using national firewall of Russia. The symptoms of slowdown is that every TCP connection freezes completely after 16 kb of data transferred. Restarting the connection allows for another 16 kb of data to be transferred, so some webpages or image files can be received if user refreshes the page multiple times. Just for your knowledge, it is not a failure of network, it is by design. Tildeverse resources also belong to domains that are slowed down.
As a person who value network neutrality, I will try to do something to circumvent this brand-new elaborate network-filtering. Given the filtering improves over time and known solutions stop working very rapidly, it gives a fascinating and labor consuming task. Just wish me luck, I will take a challenge.
