Not sure what you like to use to browse gopherspace, but I highly recommend Bombadillo (https://tildegit.org/sloum/bombadillo). I've been using it on several pubnixes including radiofreqs. If Matthew is amenable, it could be installed system-wide fairly easily. I'm always on the look out for other options for browsing gopherspace as well, so feel free to reply with what you like to use!

Bombadillo has been installed in /usr/local/bin for your gophering pleasure.
VF-1 and Lynx are also available.

Matthew - could bombadillo be updated? Sloum just released a new version - still at tildegit.org/sloum/bombadillo.
