Hey all, I’m Rob. I write about climate change for The Atlantic. I don’t think I ever did anything with my Tilde Club page, but I always liked looking at everyone else’s pages, so it’s been fun to watch it come back as a terminal inbox fungus. (I really mean that! It’s been fun!)

I also miss the era of Old Good Websites—they’ve seemingly been totally replaced by apps (for teens) and news sites (for olds)—so it’s been great to see so many familiar names from the inter-boom web on this list.

I live in DC right now, but I’m actually moving to NY soon, so… I should add… with fear and regret and no small amount of self-loathing… that I would separately welcome any apartment/roommate leads if any of the NYers here somehow have them to rob@robinsonmeyer.com.

Hello everyone!

This seems to be a wonderful and friendly place, and it's lovely seeing so many
familiar usernames from the olden days of weblogging, MetaFilter, and real life
too.

I have an occasionally updated old-fashioned web log - http://mottr.am - and
another one called One Thing Well -http://onethingwell.org - which is all about
simple, useful software. I've not posted in a long while, but there's around
three thousand entries in the archives if you're interested in that sort of
thing.

No idea what I'm going to do with my tilde.club/~mot personal home page, but
for now it's a sort of conversation with myself as I work out how to do stuff
on tilde.club (many thanks to ~benharri for helping me find my feet!)

Cheers,
