This is the most email I’ve gotten in years. 43 unread! What a world. I have no idea what I’m replying to but it seems like a good intention.

I’m nickd, I run a design consultancy and live in Chicago with my partner and border collie. I’m a decent cook, good bike mechanic, travel a fair amount, am ok at bringing the people together. Hit me next time you’re in town.

Hooray,

I'll admit that when I got the email about "Welcome to tilde," I was very confused and thought maybe it was some strange spam/phishing attempt: I had totally forgotten I'd signed up back in 2014! At least I kept the welcome email, so I was able to login and add a couple links on my page.

Very brief intro: Finance guy by training, dabbled in HTML, started macosxhints.com as a hobby, sold it to Macworld and joined their team, then moved on to my current gig, which is the non-programming half of Many Tricks, creator of many Mac utility apps…hard to believe I've been at that for nearly 10 years now!

And I agree—there are some intimidating names on this list!

God seeing some of the names on this list is intimidating, but hi, I’m Nick from Austin and my usual name penissex was stolen, so I’m ~nick.

Hello Nerds!

I'm ~stefan (and @stefanhayden on twitter) and I'm a developer in NYC at Shutterstock and I've been there for 9 years. It's a solid gig but I'm trying to get some side project off the ground so I can be more independent. Right now I'm trying to build out this site that lets you get fun notification sounds when some JS code run on your site (https://audioalerts.io).

It's a pleasure restarting to talk to all of you!

Stefan
