I'll admit that when I got the email about "Welcome to tilde," I was very confused and thought maybe it was some strange spam/phishing attempt: I had totally forgotten I'd signed up back in 2014! At least I kept the welcome email, so I was able to login and add a couple links on my page.

Very brief intro: Finance guy by training, dabbled in HTML, started macosxhints.com as a hobby, sold it to Macworld and joined their team, then moved on to my current gig, which is the non-programming half of Many Tricks, creator of many Mac utility apps…hard to believe I've been at that for nearly 10 years now!

And I agree—there are some intimidating names on this list!
