Ever since I saw Darlingside in concert last spring, they have been in heavy rotation here. They make these amazing, beautiful songs about Super Mario Brothers, Back to the Future, and the end of the world (among other non sci-fi and video game topics) and I’m absolutely in love with it. I saw them basically on a whim and didn’t know what to expect, and was absolutely blown away. There are lots of great performances on Youtube. Songs to try out include The Ancestor, Best of the Best of Times, Go Back, Harrison Ford, and The God of Loss.
