Compared to you I think I am like baby -- I'm in my early thirties(!) and firmly in the "fan" category vis-a-vis early web stuff. Though I do work mostly in academic environments here in Vancouver where tilde pages have not entirely died out(!) and I have written 6502 assembly, albeit poorly. I feel like I've been repeatedly grandfathered in to gen X open tech circles due to being a very specific kind of nerd, and I've been angling for them to change my title at work to "Director of Obsolescence," no luck yet. I clearly made a lot of progress on
http://www.tilde.club/~alex/ when I was trying to impress Paul in 2014.
My most visible recent project is doing the harvesting for
https://www.frdr.ca/repo/ , in case you want to discover Canadian research data! I'm also on
https://twitter.com/axfelix a lot because, darn it, Twitter is still fun if you aggressively curate who you're following and use a third party client (remember those?)
