Hey, top-poster (bottom-quoter?) checking in.

I can't do anything about the email address harvesters, but when I asked about more proactively archiving the tilde.club on archive.org, I was thinking of a strong partition between this list, and /var/www/public_html

Do others feel similarly/differently about this? I'm not just thinking about spammers. I think I want *some* level of intimacy amongst strangers that works better if we pretended this mailing list were private.

It's email, you're going to get spam no matter what, that's what spam
filters are for :)
