If I have to come back home to dozens of new e-mails I’m glad it’s a nice surprise like this!

I am Mike and I live at http://tilde.club/~michaeljmariano/ which I turned into a quick and dirty Twin Peaks fan site years ago. Actually today I just got the opportunity to meet Ray Wise so maybe I should put that photo on the site...

Every few months I would go to tilde.club and click on your many wonderful pages. I’m glad they are all still up and that we now have this shot in the arm to take them further.

— Mike

PS: It might be antithetical to the tilde.club ethos, but would something like a Mastodon instance be worth exploring?

Hello I’m Brendan aka http://tilde.club/~brendn/ and I’m about to move from Portland to Chicago! I used to run stupidtwittertricks.com, back when there was a website called “twitter,” which ceased to exist in 2016. I’m excited by this listserv and excited for when the good internet remembers to dig up their peach.cool passwords too.

love, brnendan

Hi gang, super excited for tilde 2.0

I’m Ryan, and for the first and probably last time in any social namespace, ~ryan.

I’m a Philadelphian, a solutions engineer in print manufacturing (automating print orders to press, monkeying with databases and APIs, that kind of thing), and a movies, elections and dad jokes enthusiast.

I’m on Twitter a fair amount at https://twitter.com/rgodfrey, and at Letterboxd at https://letterboxd.com/rgodfrey/

In honor of the new birth of tilde.club Mark II, I have updated my semi-creepy tribute to Enya (itself a bit of a dad joke) with a fancy bit of javascript that calculates her current age down to the minute. She was 53 for like five years, man.

Looking forward to sshing with youse again.

Lovely to see y’all, and thrilled to see that 90% of http://tilde.club/~kentbrew/ still works!

Hey everyone,

I'm ~mat.

It's amazing to see so many familiar names on a single chain. I was/am "emptyage" a lot of other places online. I forgot about domain registration and lost all my websites, so I can't really link to anything of my own, but my audioscrobbler appears to mostly be kids' music now

I will be in NYC next week and would love to see other ~tildes. Would anyone be interested in meeting after work on the 24th?

What a gas.

Man this is real cool; how nice to get to engage with the internet in 2019 and not be left vaguely nauseated by the experience.

I’m Matt (~langer) and I live in New Mexico. “It ain’t Mexico and it ain’t new,” say some of the bumper stickers; “so far from heaven, so close to Texas” say the others. I write code some of the time and work with horses the rest of it, and apparently I never bothered to update my default tildepage.

Loving this thread. Keep the emails coming.

I was just waiting for someone to admit they forgot their password and/or lost the key there were using, so I could admit that too.

anyway, I'm Sid and I'm in NYC. I was part of the devopsdaysNYC this year - if you remember that or were there :)

now to email root to get my password fixed.

I'm ~stefan (and @stefanhayden on twitter) and I'm a developer in NYC at Shutterstock and I've been there for 9 years. It's a solid gig but I'm trying to get some side project off the ground so I can be more independent. Right now I'm trying to build out this site that lets you get fun notification sounds when some JS code run on your site (https://audioalerts.io).

It's a pleasure restarting to talk to all of you!
