I could do 10m but only if you're in the Mid Atlantic region of the US
most likely. I played around a little during the recent ARRL 10 meter
contest and conditions were very rough save for very brief Sporadic E
openings. Anyway mail me if you want to set something up. Also, I'd
encourage you to get your general - it's not that much harder than
Technician. One day I'll get Extra...
Hi All!
I've been wanting to play with the Olivia mode, but there doesn't seem
to be much activity around. If anyone wants to try it, let me know and
we can set up a time. My QTH is the FM19 gridsquare (MD, USA) and
judging by my FT8 contacts I usually get good propagation to the
Midwest, the Gulf Coast (especially Texas for some reason), and
sometimes to the Pacific Northwest when using 5-7 watts on 17
and 20 meters. I've had success locally in the Mid-Atlantic
using 80 meters as well.
73!

I recommend the Yaesu FT-450D. With IF DSP it has a really great receiver
and 100W on TX. Price is good too!
